Our Journey
The Mind Care is the premier counselling and psychotherapy service provider started in 2005 to spread mental health awareness and make mental health services affordable and accessible to all through both online and offline counselling.
Since then, The Mind Care has worked tirelessly to provide accessible and affordable mental health care for all the strata of society. We have worked in close ties with NGOs and provided mental health rehabilitation services to Prisoners of various districts, worked with the police force and the Indian Army to make sure that the defence personnel had a healthy coping strategy. In ties with Mastermind Foundation, an NGO, The Mind Care has also extended free 24/7 tele counselling service for COVID-19, in 13 different regional languages with more than 100 counsellors, and helped lakhs of people overcome their anxiety about the infection and helped the support system of many to overcome their fears and lead a healthy life. Grief counselling was also provided for them to overcome the loss of a loved one and accept and move on.
The Mind Care has always tried to incorporate cultural and religious values into its practice to make mental health more relatable and appropriate to the Indian context. In doing so, The Mind Care has also made it their paramount to respect and work with all religions, cultures, races and castes making mental health a multi-faceted field which can be approached by anyone.
Vision
The main vision of the organization is; “treatment without medicines” where we try to treat mental health illnesses without medicines. The Mind Care follows the principles of Indian psychology which stems from the root of Indian scriptures such as Sad-Darshana, Upanishads, and Gita. These principles are not aimed at a particular race, religion, caste, or any gender. These theories are made for the entire human race with the main concept of being more in touch with one’s own emotions, thoughts, and feelings and promoting self-reliance and self-control.
Aim
The Mind Care aims to assist people in overcoming the emotional barriers or psychological problems caused by stress, depression, relationships, Anxiety, breakdown, traumas, lack of self-confidence, etc.
